One of our newest discoveries, Balos Marathokampos was a happy accident—we ended up here by chance, and it quickly became a favorite. This peaceful beach is perfect if you’re looking to escape the crowds, as it’s not yet on the radar of most tourists. The shore is a mix of small rocks, and the water gets deep quickly, making it ideal for strong swimmers. With a beautiful mountain backdrop, Balos feels like a peaceful escape where you can truly enjoy the calm and natural beauty of Samos.
