Trata

Trata is a proper Greek taverna that’s always buzzing with energy, especially during the summer. Located right on a stone beach, it’s our go-to place when we’re swimming in Marathokampos (Kaladakia or Balos) and need a delicious break.

The seafood here is amazing, and the ouzo pairs perfectly with the vibrant, authentic atmosphere. The place is usually packed, with Greek families chatting, laughing, and shouting while they eat—a lively, joyful chaos that makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience Greek culture at its finest. And when we want to give Olga (Evanthia’s mom) a well-deserved break from cooking, this is where we love to go!
